After unstaking: How to Track / Send $VIBE Coins in Metamask

Warning: you can only see your $VIBE balance after you unstake (see the bottom of this doc for more details)

To easily track your $VIBE coin balance, you can import the token to Metemask. It will show up at the bottom like below:

How to import

1. Open Metamask, select “Import tokens” at the bottom

2. Select the “Custom Token” tab

Token Contract address: (copy & paste)

Then click “Add Custom Token”

3. Done! Now you can track your VIBE coin balance in Metamask, or easily send your coins to another wallet if needed.

🚨 Help! I imported the $VIBE token to Metamask but don’t see my balance

This is expected! What happens is we calculate your balance based on when you staked but it doesn’t reflect properly on Metamask because we want to save you that extra transaction to claim to save you gas

And when you go ahead and unstake (aka, a transfer happens on your NFT) it will automatically claim your tokens on chain. OR when you purchase an item on the vibemarket, it will then automatically claim your tokens. The point is it saves you an extra step to go “claim” to save you gas.
